Leadership Program Highlights and Benefits
Youth ministry in the 21st century is an exciting calling! Whether you’re a paid member of a church staff or an adult volunteer, the challenges are numerous: getting teens involved and committed to attending, getting them to participate once they’re there, and imparting the importance of a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ that will take them through their adult years.
Clearly, we all can use some coaching—an experienced mentor to come alongside and help us implement the dynamic ideas that will spark students’ passion and will equip them to follow Christ for a lifetime.
Through 25 years of youth ministry, Rick Mills has seen a lot—a lot of what works and a lot of what doesn’t. Why not take advantage of that experience by joining forces with Rick and the staff at FUEL-Youth Ministry

Did You Know?
Most ministry leaders recognize the seriousness of capturing this generation’s teens for Christ and the many battles being waged for their hearts and minds within today’s culture wars. The bounds of what many consider “morally appropriate” for teens often goes well beyond our own comfort zones and many parents are at a complete loss as to how to counterbalance the deafening media noise.
Some alarming statistics noted:
• From Cosmogirl.com: “One out of five teen girls have taken nude photos of themselves and posted these photos on the Internet, or sent them to someone by using their cell phone.” (Source: Cosmogirl.com, December 2008)
• From a study conducted by the National Institutes of Health in association with Yale University: “The average minor watches 45 hours of [media content] per week. This includes watching television and using the Internet.” (Source: Fox News, December 7, 2008)
FUELeader University stands ready to help you solve the many challenges of developing a successful program through the solution of STUDENT-LED YOUTH MINISTRY.™ By getting students involved and committed to leading, then slowly turning over the leadership of their own group to them, we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of youth staying in church after high school graduation.
